The Collaborative Projects are all currently funded by peer-reviewed support, primarily from the National Institutes of Health. All of the listed principal investigators have collaborated for many years on project development, grant writing, and publications, both with each other and with the PIs of the Core research and development projects. Each Collaborative Project is designed to make use of and build upon the work of other projects in the Research Resource program.
