Subjects:
Overall, there have been over 900 participants who were or still are being followed among 5 community longitudinal studies, and many clinical trials and biomarker studies over the past 20 years. We have collected samples primarily from AD and Cognitively Normal participants, although we also have samples from some MCI participants.
Material available:
At present, serum and plasma, CSF, and some urine.
Collection methods:
We have an IRB-approved protocol in place for CSF collection (based on ADNI biomarker collection). The urine, serum and plasma we have on site have been collected from current and previous clinical trials with IRB approved protocols.
Storage:
Samples are stored in a -80 freezer
Other measurements available for this cohort:
Age at time of collection, MMSE score, diagnosis, some medical history, some medications.
