Study Description:
Samples in the ADCS Biospecimen Repository at UCSD are collected from AD subjects who participate in ADCS supported trials. On a case by case basis, we also bank samples from pharmaceutical companies who have run AD trials. The majority of our samples are from MCI and mild-moderate AD patients, but our future trials will also include participants in preclinical phases of progression. We presently do not have any non-demented control subjects. In addition to AD samples, we also have Down Syndrome samples.
Material Available:
We predominantly have plasma, but also have an expanding bank of CSF, DNA, blood, whole blood and urine.
